Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

Make me a temperature and humidity sensor node with Wifi and Bluetooth, powered by USB-C (5V) for consumer use.
It should be a low-power environmental node with a digital T/RH sensor, ultra-low-power MCU with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (dual-radio) — 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n plus BLE 5.x powered by USB-C (5 V) — USB-C receptacle 5 V default; include reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection and plan for 0.5–3 A sources.

What remains to be done once ACUs are available:
  • Rename/document the project as a USB-C powered Wi‑Fi/BLE temperature-humidity environmental node.
  • Select the MCU/module, likely an ESP32-C6/ESP32-C3 class Wi‑Fi 4 + BLE 5.x module depending on your preferences.
  • Add a digital temperature/RH sensor, USB-C power input, 5 V protection path with reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP, and 3.3 V regulation sized for Wi‑Fi peak current.
  • Add USB-C CC pull-downs for 5 V default sink operation and design for 0.5–3 A source capability.
  • Create schematic, power budget, firmware pin map, regulatory notes, bring-up plan, then verify ERC/DRC before layout.
