ESP32 Power Supply Setup

Below are the changes that will be made to connect your USB‑C power source to the ESP32 via the AMS1117 regulator:

Wiring Connections:
  • Input Side:
    • Connect a VBUS pin from J1 (USB‑C 5V) to the VIN pin of U2.
    • Connect decoupling capacitors C1 and C2 between U2 VIN and ground.
  • Output Side:
    • Connect the VOUT pin of U2 to the 3.3V power pin of the ESP32 (U1).
    • Connect decoupling capacitors C3 and C4 between U2 VOUT and ground.
  • Common Ground:
    • Tie the ground pins of J1, U2, and U1 together.
This configuration uses the USB‑C J1 5V supply to feed the AMS1117 regulator, which then provides a stable 3.3V output to the ESP32 (U1). The added input and output decoupling capacitors ([C1]–[C4]) will help maintain voltage stability and filter noise.
