Arduino Code and Diagram Review


I added the requested through-hole VIN/GND connector: J1 = 2-pin 5.08 mm screw terminal (DB127V-5.08-2P-GN-S) for an external regulated 5 V input to the ESP32 DevKit VIN.
Open items:
  • J1 is not wired yet to U1 VIN and GND.
  • J1 is not placed on the PCB yet.
  • PCB routing and final DRC/ERC checks are still pending.
  • I’m blocked because the account has no available ACUs, so AI execution tools are unavailable right now.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Add ACUs, then ask me to continue from “wire J1, place it, route, and run final DRC.”
  2. Use USB-only power instead if you don’t want the VIN connector wired.
  3. After routing, run final DRC/ERC and then export Gerbers/BOM.
Wire J1 to U1 VIN and GND, place it at the board edge, route, and run final DRC.
I’ll wire J1 to VIN/GND, move it to the board edge for access, then attempt routing and run final checks.
Wired J1 pin 1 → VIN and J1 pin 2 → GND, placed J1 at the lower-left board edge, and ran the auto-router successfully; the route check now reports nothing left to route.
Open items:
  • ERC is clean.
  • DRC is not clean: it still reports route-geometry issues — airwire/trace, dangling-trace, and overlapping-copper errors — even though the router says all nets are routed.
  • The board should not be sent to fabrication until those DRC route errors are resolved.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Ask me to do a DRC cleanup pass on the routed traces.
  2. If cleanup is stubborn, re-place U1/U2/DS1 with more spacing and re-route.
  3. After DRC is clean, export Gerbers/BOM for manufacturing.
