Below are suggested schematic modifications to fix the airwire issues by ensuring that all component connections are tied explicitly (i.e. via center–pad connectivity or net portals):
  1. Linking Connections with Net Portals:
    • Between [R1] and [C1]:
The airwire error between R1 pin 2 and C1 pin 1 indicates that the connection isn’t made at the pad centers. Insert a net portal (or equivalent explicit connection) at NODE1 so that the output of [R1] (pin 2) and the input of [C1] (pin 1) are definitively connected.
  2. Ensuring Transistor Connections Are Complete:
    • Between [2N3904] and [C1]:
Verify that the base connection (from [2N3904]) is connected to the center of [C1] via NODE2. If necessary, add a net portal at NODE2 so that [C1] pin 2 and the transistor’s base are tied directly.
    • Between [2N3904] and [R2]:
To resolve errors reported for the transistor’s collector (for instance, [2N3904] pin 3 to [R2] pin 1), insert a net portal at NODE3 (MCU_IN). This ensures that the collector’s center pad and [R2] pin 1 are solidly connected.
  3. Ground and Supply Nets:
    • Double–check that all ground connections (tube’s cathode, [2N3904] emitter) are connected using the dedicated Ground component.
    • Likewise, ensure that the 3.3V connection to the pull–up resistor ([R2]) is tied using the proper net labeling so that there are no floating connections.
Summary Table of Revised Connection Points:

Table

Net LabelOriginal ConnectionAdded CorrectionDescription
NODE1R1 (pin 2) ↔ C1 (pin 1)Insert net portal between these padsEnsures center–pad connectivity between the resistor and capacitor
NODE2C1 (pin 2) ↔ 2N3904 baseInsert net portal if neededSolidly connects AC–coupled pulse to the transistor base
NODE3 / MCU_IN2N3904 collector ↔ R2 (pin 1) ↔ ESP32 inputInsert net portal at NODE3Ensures that the signal from the transistor reaches the microcontroller
GNDTube cathode, 2N3904 emitterVerify dedicated [Ground] connectionMaintains a continuous ground connection
3.3VR2 (pin 2)Verify 3.3V net connectionEnsures that the pull-up resistor receives a stable 3.3V supply
These modifications ensure that all critical nodes are explicitly tied together, eliminating floating or “airwire” connections. You can use the "Apply changes" option to update your schematic with these revisions.
