Architecture Decisions
  • Primary source: RRC2054-2 smart battery, 14.4 V nominal.
  • Main rails: 5V0 buck for NH3 / CO2 / high-current auxiliary bursts; 3V3 buck for STM32WBA and most sensors; 1V8 local rail for the PDM microphone and any low-voltage IO domains required by datasheets.
  • Default sensor control bus: 3V3 I2C for low/medium-speed sensors, with a separate 5V I2C segment or level shifting for the NH3 sensor if its I/O is not 3V3 tolerant.
  • Camera data should use SPI/cropped streaming to avoid full-frame buffering in STM32 SRAM.
  • IR LEDs must be switched with a logic-level MOSFET and current-limited per LED datasheet.
  • Include SWD/debug, reset, boot strapping, rail test points, and battery SMBus connector.
