Project Specification
Purpose
Cyberdeck power hub PCB for distributing a boosted Li-ion battery rail to an Arduino VIN header, servo power header, voltmeter terminal, and button signal header.
Board Constraints
  • Board size: 50 mm x 70 mm
  • Stackup: Standard 2 Layer
  • Top-level assembly uses external modules for charging and boost conversion.
Main Blocks
  • TP4056 Type-C Li-ion charger module: battery input and protected output terminals.
  • MT3608 boost converter module: boosts the charger output to the system distribution rail.
  • Rocker switch terminal: switches the boosted output rail before feeding loads.
  • External connectors: battery, voltmeter, servo, Arduino VIN/GND, and button signal/GND.
Required Connections
  • BATTERY B+ to TP4056 BAT+
  • BATTERY B- to TP4056 BAT-
  • TP4056 OUT+ to MT3608 VIN+
  • TP4056 OUT- to MT3608 VIN- and GND rail
  • MT3608 VOUT+ to rocker switch pin 1 and voltmeter pin 1
  • Rocker switch pin 2 to Arduino VIN and Servo VCC
  • GND rail to Arduino GND, Servo GND, Button GND, and Voltmeter pin 2
  • Button SIG net is labeled ARDUINO_D4 for external Arduino Pin 4 wiring
Notes
The charger and boost converter are represented as modules; their onboard passives and IC-level recommended circuits are assumed to be present on the modules. Final routing should use appropriately wide traces for battery, boost input, boost output, and switched output current paths.
