A 500 error during Gerber generation indicates a server-side failure rather than a problem with your browser or network. To resolve this:

Verify DRC/ERC is clean
- Fix any critical errors (airwires, missing footprints, invalid copper) and re-run DRC. A malformed design can sometimes crash the export service.

Simplify large pours or complex copper shapes
- If you have overly dense ground pours or many small copper islands, try temporarily disabling them or reducing pour complexity before exporting.

Retry the export
- In the PCB tab click the Export button ▶︎ Manufacturing Files ▶︎ Gerber/Drill and attempt again.

Collect error details
- Note the exact timestamp, project name, and the full error message shown in Flux.
