Raspberry Pi Pico 2 Shield Design

Add Raspberry Pi Pico 2 shield then add the minimum required components needed for it to function properly. Keep the design as simple and minimal as possible.
You may include a single humidity sensor as the primary peripheral, along with any essential supporting components such as power regulation, pull-up resistors, decoupling capacitors, or required connectors.

Thought for a moment

I’m blocked from modifying the project because execution credits are exhausted, so I could not add or wire any components.
Planned minimal design:
  • Raspberry Pi Pico 2 shield footprint/header connections for the Pico 2 module.
  • One humidity sensor, preferably an I2C digital humidity/temperature sensor.
  • 3.3 V power distribution from the Pico 2’s 3V3 rail where possible, avoiding extra regulation unless required.
  • I2C pull-up resistors to 3.3 V if the selected sensor/module does not already include them.
  • Local decoupling capacitors near the humidity sensor and any power pins.
  • Simple connectors/headers only as needed for the shield interface.
What remains:
  • Confirm the exact Pico 2 shield/header pinout and select the humidity sensor.
  • Consult datasheets for the Pico 2 and humidity sensor.
  • Add components to the schematic, wire power/GND/I2C, add decoupling and pull-ups.
  • Run schematic review/ERC and fix any violations.
  • After schematic is clean, proceed to layout only with your confirmation.
