Triac Control for AC Lamp

Below is an outline of the components that would be added to your project. This collection includes the main power switching elements as well as the required control and isolation parts:

Table

DesignatorComponent DescriptionLink
J1DC 5V Input Connector (external control voltage input)J1
R1Current-Limiting Resistor for optoisolator LED (approx. 330Ω as a start)R1
U1Triac Driver Optoisolator, e.g., MOC3021MOC3021
U2Main Triac for AC load switching, e.g., BT136BT136
LAMP1AC Lamp Load symbol representing the 220VAC, 200W lampLamp
GNDGround reference for DC circuitGND
Once the components above are added to the project, the next step would be to create the net connections between them (for example linking the DC 5V from J1 via R1 to the LED side of U1, and then connecting the triac output of U1 to the gate of U2 along with proper snubber or pull resistor arrangements as required for safe AC switching, plus wiring the load LAMP1 to the AC mains).
This list reflects the devices you’d need for your circuit, following the guideline of first adding all required components and then proceeding to the net connections in the schematic.
