Completed the part review and set the official Espressif Datasheet URL on the part. I created the full review here: ESP32-C3-DEVKITM-1 Part Review.
Open items:
  • J3 pin numbering/orientation should be confirmed against the footprint geometry before publishing.
  • Pin descriptions are sparse and should be expanded with official GPIO/ADC/UART/USB/strapping functions.
  • Package/mechanical metadata is missing or too generic.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Update terminal Pin Description properties from the official Espressif pin table.
  2. Verify and, if needed, correct J3 footprint pad numbering.
  3. Add explicit package/mechanical metadata for the 2x15 header dev-board footprint.

I’ll update the terminal descriptions and package metadata, then inspect the footprint/pad ordering to verify whether J3 is intentionally reversed or needs correction.

Pin descriptions are updated from the official Espressif J1/J3 header table. I’m adding the package metadata and then I’ll verify the final mapping.

Completed the fixes: all 30 terminals now have official Espressif pin descriptions, package/mechanical metadata was added, and J3 numbering was verified as reversed physical order: Flux pins 16–30 map to J3-15 through J3-1.
