Yes - I can measure dimensions if the uploaded file contains a usable scale or known reference.
What I can usually do:
- Read board outline dimensions from Gerbers/EDA files
- Estimate or extract dimensions from mechanical/CAD reference files when geometry is available
- Analyze images and measure features relative to a reference object or visible dimension callout
Limits:
- If it is just a photo/image with no scale, ruler, known part size, or dimension annotation, I can only give an estimate, not a reliable real-world measurement.
- Some proprietary formats have limited parsing, so export format matters
If you want, send me what dimension you want measured and, if it is an image, include one of:
- a ruler/caliper in frame
- a known component/package size
- a drawing dimension
- a board file/Gerber/STEP source
Then I can measure it.
