Reviewed the WAGO 2061-602/998-404 part information against the official WAGO/product datasheet data. The Datasheet URL was already set to the official WAGO product page, so I did not change it.
Key specs confirmed: 2-pole SMD PCB terminal block, Push-in CAGE CLAMP with push-button, 6 mm pitch, 1.5 mm² / AWG 20–16 conductors, 17.5 A IEC rated current, UL 300 V / 10 A, 4 solder pins total with 2 solder pins per potential, white, tape-and-reel.
Mismatches / issues flagged:
  • Symbol has 4 terminals/pins, which matches the 4 physical solder pads, but the datasheet defines only 2 electrical potentials; the symbol should clearly document which two pads belong to each potential.
  • Pin descriptions are missing/undefined for all four terminals.
  • Pin type is “Unspecified” for all terminals; acceptable for a connector, but “Passive” would be clearer.
  • BOM is empty even though this is a published part project; metadata exists at project level rather than as a BOM component.
  • Footprint has 4 pads, consistent with datasheet “2 solder pins per potential”; I did not find enough exposed pad geometry detail in the current layout readout to fully verify every land-pattern dimension.

Fix the pin descriptions and mark all connector pins as Passive.

I’ll update the four terminal entries so each pin is Passive and clearly describes its pole/potential and duplicate solder-pad role, then verify the properties.

  • Pin descriptions now identify Pole/Potential 1 or 2 and the duplicated solder-pad role:
    • Pin 1: Pole 1 / Potential 1 solder pad A
    • Pin 2: Pole 1 / Potential 1 solder pad B
    • Pin 3: Pole 2 / Potential 2 solder pad A
    • Pin 4: Pole 2 / Potential 2 solder pad B
