I’m blocked because execution credits are exhausted, so I can’t modify the project or run verification tools right now.
Current project state:
No schematic components have been added.
No nets or layout exist yet.
The project is still an empty draft.
Recommended design direction when work can resume:
MCU/radio: ESP32-C6 or ESP32-C3 class module for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + BLE 5.x, using a certified module for consumer RF compliance.
Sensor: low-power digital temperature/RH sensor over I²C, e.g. Sensirion SHT4x/SHTC3-class.
USB-C input: USB-C receptacle configured for 5 V default sink with CC pull-downs.
Protection/power path:
USB input ESD protection
reverse-current / ideal-diode or load-switch protection
OVP, UVLO, and OCP/current-limit stage sized for 0.5–3 A USB-C sources
5 V to 3.3 V regulator sized from a real power budget
Required support:
decoupling on every IC power pin
I²C pull-ups
RF antenna keepout if using a PCB/module antenna
programming/debug header
clean ERC review before layout
Next step once credits/tools are available: I’ll create the schematic first, select datasheet-backed parts, wire the USB-C protection and 3.3 V rail, add the Wi-Fi/BLE MCU module and T/RH sensor, then run review checks before asking for approval to move into PCB layout.
