A practical direction is an ESP32-S3 camera + digital I²S microphone board with:
- ESP32-S3 module with PSRAM
- Camera connector/module
- I²S MEMS microphone
- USB-C power/programming
- Optional microSD storage
- On-device TinyML for wake-word, sound classification, or basic vision
Full computer-vision/voice AI is usually too large for the ESP32-S3 alone, so advanced inference should use a cloud or local server.
