Getting Started With Flux

flux

I couldn’t produce a faithful schematic PDF: the available PDF export covers PCB layers only, and the schematic-rendering fallback loses symbol detail. No PDF was created, and your design is unchanged.
This export limitation needs Flux support: Contact Support.

flux

I’ll make a cosmetic-only readability pass using the ten requested blocks, left-to-right signal flow and inter-block net labels. I’ll compare the complete netlist, parts and values before and after, and won’t touch PCB layout.

flux

The readability pass is blocked: my available controls do not support schematic canvas placement, frames, or graphical wire/net-label editing, so I made no changes.
  • Before: 328 components / 188 nets.
  • After inspection: 328 components / 188 nets.
  • Parts, values and connectivity remain untouched; no PCB layout started.
I cannot claim the rearrangement or a full before/after netlist comparison was completed. This limitation needs Contact Support.

Shutdown Focused Review
Latest independent revision finding and completed correction
Independent review conditionally accepted the simplified pump/hand sizing/default pulls/TPs/isolation and bench acceptance, but found direct3V3 PWM→TC4427A unsafe when5V=0 (input absolute maximum VDD+0.3V). Corrected now: U6 SN74LVC1T45DBVT dual-supply translator with manufacturer Ioff/either-supply-atGND high-Z protection,3V3A→5VB direction, R23=10k output pulldown and C10/C11=100nF decouplers. SHUTDOWN_RELAY_PULSE/TP4/R2 boundary retained; new SHUTDOWN_PUMP_INPUT_5V drives IC1IN_A. Missing either rail atGND isolates B and defaults IN_A low; partial brownout/ramp remains supervised and bench-tested. Capacitive energy semantics/Q3/health/floating contact unchanged.
Latest inventory54components/14types,25nets,122connected memberships,12TPs,6NCs supersedes50/24 below. TP4=40kHz;TP8 namesQ3 notQ2. ExactC9 procurement explicitly left order-stage. AQY212 LED pins1/2 confirmed but indexed drawing polarity not independently resolved; no rewiring. Full correction evidence, limits and completion matrix in latest addendum of shutdown-design-notes.
Fresh targeted ERC21:00:39.620Z 4Errors, same listed IC1 pins but IN_A now physically driven byU6B and checker-unrecognized library port semantics, not missing MCU directly; VDD/GND future actual source semantics, IN_B grounded same GND issue. No simulation/PCB changes/second independent review; four new parts await later layout. Bench acceptance unchanged/unattempted; C9 procurement deferred and AQY212 polarity confirmation unresolved. Commits83a02988/1a63d77f/64c46ad2. Correction batch completed separately from overall design; user pause waived, lead proceeds Block2 after targeted inspection.
Current revision — user-approved simplification, 2026-10-10
This revision supersedes every older active-dump topology, final-value simulation, fixed 5mA acceptance target, and simulated qualification conclusion below. Older material is retained only as a historical review record. No SPICE or behavioral simulation was called for this revision. The user's subsequent “After this proceed to the next step without review” waives the user-review pause: hand off Block1 to the lead, who will inspect it and separately build Block2 without another confirmation. EE/bench qualification remains mandatory; this worker does not expand into Block2 or layout.
Controlling user review was read in full. Detailed current inventory, conservative hand calculations, control semantics and bench checklist are in the current-revision section of shutdown-design-notes.
Implemented revision and evidence
  • Removed dump-only Q1, Q2, R7, R8, R10, R19, R20; deleted all four SHUTDOWN_DUMP_* nets. IC1 channel A remains; IN_B is grounded and OUT_B is intentional NC. The datasheet instructs grounding any unused driver input. Unloaded output is an engineering disposition, not an extracted explicit manufacturer instruction.
  • R9=22ohm1% CRCW251222R0FKEGHP (existing2512/1.5W retained); C1=1uF50V1206 Samsung CL31B105KBHNNNE; C8=1uF50V0805 TDK C2012X7R1H105K125AB; R11=10kohm1%; prototype RELAY_PULSE=40kHz50%duty, stopped by firmware on trip/disarm/not-ready. R1 remains180ohm1%0.5W. The 1.5W R9 package was not shrunk because retaining the footprint is in scope and provides conservative short-load dissipation headroom, not because the normal pump needs high power.

Draft Checkpoint and Scope
Focused fixes requested by the lead after independent read-only review; no second broad review and no other subsystem or layout edits. The shutdown is a wired draft requiring EE and bench review, not certified protection. Final count remains 57 components, 28 nets, 127 connected pins/net-label stubs, 5 intentional no-connects, 12 testpoints. Component-property commits b001a334 and 9104f0e0 changed values/ratings/procurement annotations only; no connections, packages, positions, board rules or routing changed.

Command Trip, Static Pulse Faults and Power Loss
At5.25V/0Ω driver, idealQ3 opening at5ms reduces LED to≤2.42nA immediately in the model; dump starts20µs later. This proves the modeled series interruption, not physical command/contact timing. Continued PWM replenishes C8: final reservoir nominal1.786–2.253V, reduced1.419–2.272V, high1.819–2.246V; dump is not a complete zero-voltage discharge while pumping. Because Q3 is OFF, that residual does not maintain LED drive in the ideal model.
Pulse stuckHIGH/LOW at5ms with Q3ON/dumpOFF, phases0/5/10/15µs, R11=1010Ω: worst tested LED<0.4mA delay2.386msHIGH/0.74176msLOW, high caps. These are fault-decay estimates, not commanded trip delay or guaranteed contact times. Healthy ACK alone cannot supply steady pump energy. C1 remains charged with staticHIGH even once LED off. High-cap maximum startup stored energy19.492µJ; highest sampled stuckHIGH stored energy49.222µJ at20ms is not an infinite-time bound.
Power loss sourceLOW/Q3OFF/dumpOFF retains reservoir voltage; at10ms after start (5ms after loss) nominal0.3911V/high0.4816V. Series cutoff avoids putting this passive bleed on the command critical path. Full timing traces are within the complete analysis; simulator supplied unsigned historical CDN trace pointers with uncertain future access, so do not represent their retention as permanent archival proof.
