Getting Started With Flux

flux

I couldn’t produce a faithful schematic PDF: the available PDF export covers PCB layers only, and the schematic-rendering fallback loses symbol detail. No PDF was created, and your design is unchanged.
This export limitation needs Flux support: Contact Support.

I’ll make a cosmetic-only readability pass using the ten requested blocks, left-to-right signal flow and inter-block net labels. I’ll compare the complete netlist, parts and values before and after, and won’t touch PCB layout.

"Schematic Readability Pass" completed.

flux

The readability pass is blocked: my available controls do not support schematic canvas placement, frames, or graphical wire/net-label editing, so I made no changes.
  • Before: 328 components / 188 nets.
  • After inspection: 328 components / 188 nets.
  • Parts, values and connectivity remain untouched; no PCB layout started.
I cannot claim the rearrangement or a full before/after netlist comparison was completed. This limitation needs Contact Support.

Resumed entry build — controlling revision 2026-10-12
This section supersedes the earlier unbuilt-protection inventory below; that text is retained as history. Completed schematic: D7 TVS2700DRVR, D8 BAV199LT1G, R40/R48 CRCW1206330RFKEA, C60 C0603C471K5GACTU, TP24/25 and off-board J1 selected Amphenol RF031-10 logical representation. Actual inventory179 components72 nets39 part types14 groups. Commits561c1b79/93f8d8e5 (entry parts/wiring),96434aae/73a7c3da (panel symbol/wiring). No power feedback/U15/shutdown/layout/ADC/MCU changes. Not qualified: >=24V worst-case connector compliance, full30m stability/performance, transient layout/ESD, physical connector stack and3D. The block is a realizable protected prototype draft, not release-qualified hardware.

D7 numerical pin map and ground pad verified. D8 maker pin1 anode,pin2 cathode,pin3 cathode-anode verified. All new pins connected; no suppressions/fake power flags. R40/R48 are measurement BRANCH resistors, not in the4mA excitation path: zero extra DC compliance loss with unloaded boundaries. Paths remain DC coupled, no high-pass.
Future input/bias circuitry MUST tolerate normal0–26.5V open voltage and at least−5 to+35V primary surge envelope plus measured overshoot, powered and unpowered. Require margin-rated60V-class front end or an independently designed secondary limiter/divider; neither net is safe to connect directly to3V3/5V pins. Future load target>=1MΩ each (330Ω attenuationIN within its voltage limits. R40/R48 CRCW1206 family rated0.25W70°C/200V; limiting worst screened35V into a subsequently shorted boundary gives35/330=106mA,3.71W, which is NOT continuous-safe. Pulse graph extraction is ambiguous; do not declare energy qualification from it. High-impedance open boundaries draw negligible DC. The primary shunt takes the discharge; branch resistors reduce current into future clamps, with future clamp energy/actual pulse duration qualification mandatory. Intended faults: sensor open/short/hotplug, unpowered IEPE connection and limited connector discharge within actual device pulse conditions. Wrong connection to a controller is NOT proven safe by4mA; unknown controller pin rating/return-earth path remains a specific system blocker. Test fault energy with current-limited fixtures, never an operational controller first.
Stability, loading and compliance reconciliation
C60 library-verified470pF±10%50V C0G chosen across complete source terminals. LT3092 allows=24V, before ripple. The1.45V spec is at10mA, not a4mA guarantee. >=24V worst-case compliance is concretely BLOCKED in present rail topology, not fixed by the entry branch resistors. No silent rail increase. Alternative: sourced final-rail feedback around26.3Vnominal with validated4mA dropout, boost-pre minimum/U13 headroom, supervisor threshold and27V standoff/open-sensor maximum reconciliation; do not simply use430k because27V clamp margin becomes extremely narrow. Lead/EE must reconcile this bounded rail change or accept a measured-only prototype gate. Current build cannot claim guaranteed24V. Normal/short source dissipation still about108mW upper screen and fits existing11mAHVreserve; new shunt leakage is negligible normal power. C60 does not add a DC load. No power allocation increase.
Panel connector and chassis evidence
Maker catalogue explicitly identifies31-10 front-mount50Ω BNC as isolated from panel, solder cup+ground tab. Current maker product page identifies exact031-10 isolated,solder-cup,50Ω,front bulkhead: https://www.amphenolrf.com/031-10.html. Imported KiCad Conn_Coaxial is ONLY its logical two-terminal representation; symbolic pin1/2 are NOT manufacturer-numbered lugs and no PCB land pattern is implied. Exact catalog drawing is authoritative for insulation/termination roles, but detailed customer drawing download, hardware stack tolerances and3D are still unavailable/unqualified. J1 Exclude fromPCB and Pick&Place=true, remainsBOM. X3 remains real PCB harness. Assembly continuity must prove cup=center/tab=shell and isolation fromCHASSIS with installed nut/washer/panel; do not certify panel fit from generic symbol. C68 maker-derived productPDF now verified: X1:440VAC/1500VDC,Y1:400VAC/1500VDC;1000pF±20%. Earlier C68 verification blocker resolved; neither its voltage rating nor10MΩ RC is system ESD qualification.
Fresh verification and added tests
ERC2026-10-12T18:50:18.425Z remains4Errors2Warnings: U10/U11/U15MissingPower andIC1IN_Aundriven; X3bidirectionalGND conflict andD1unspecified pin warning. No new unexplained ERC issue;18added floating pins resolved. Read-only nets verify D7/D8/C60/J1, two new2-pin interfaces, CHASSIS onlyR49/C68/TP23, floating output pair each4pinsD1/U1/X1/TP11or12, no local/chassis bridge. No DRC/layout-clean claim.
  • Bench before any sensor/controller: verify27Vstandoff margin including open/startup/loadstep; measure4mA and compliance over10–40°C/rail corners. Reject24V requirement if board does not meet it; no reinterpretation as24Vnominal.
  • With30m representative cable and measured3nF cable limit, sweep5Hz–2kHz and attainable±10V about compatible bias; scope oscillation/step settling, vary cableC/open/short/hotplug and C60 population. No measured result yet.
  • Capture both polarities at entry/source OUT/SET and both interfaces with appropriate differential probes; ensure source differential=24V compliance is NOT established. Retain prototype reference and mandatory measured>=24V gate; if it fails, lead must approve sourced modest rail/headroom revision and revisit U15/28Vpre headroom/open sensor rating, not silently increase voltage.
Compatible sensor: accepts≈4mA continuous excitation; maximum allowable open voltage>=actual measured worst-case rail; bias/swing fit measured compliance and sensor lower linearity limit. Normal configured bias7–14V does not imply all such sensors support±10V. At24V compliance, bias14V+10V touches upper boundary with zero margin; bias7V−10V is impossible for a conventional positive IEPE line. Full±10V only for sensor bias satisfying lower linearity voltage+10V 1µF ESR=1.5A adapter/no secondary earth bond; Ethernet transformer and no conductive shield-earth bypass; those interfaces not built here. Floating shutdown pair remains entirely separate: fresh net readback4pins each D1/TP11or12/U1/X1, noGND/CHASSIS bridge. ±30VDC means entire local domain versus independent remote grounds across completed isolation interfaces, never sensor-return versus GND. ±30V/±8kVcontact/±15kVair are accepted first-board VALIDATION TARGETS, not ratings. ESD loops close via cable/environment/parasitic capacitance; RC alone does not qualify ESD.
