ESC Access and Hardware Test Status
Access check — 2026-10-08
Read-only attempts under the current account could not resolve either saved UUID:
9112e57a-2a41-46b0-8a46-fa6e6823f564
ebbc7d0d-faf2-452b-8545-f07b16fab145
Both saved URL reads also returned “Could not resolve project ... Ensure it's a valid UUID, 'handle/slug', or part UID, and you have access.”
An accessible-project search for esc, owner wiredok373, returned “An error occurred while listing projects. Please try again.” This is a service failure, not evidence that no ESC project exists. Resolution failures do not distinguish deleted/moved projects from insufficient permission. Attempts are now bounded; no permission bypass, duplicate project, or ESC edit was made.
To continue, the owner must provide the current working ESC project URL and authorize
wiredok373 to access it. In particular verify the exact 55 A link
/setej72878/four-channel-55a-esc-prototype or supply its replacement. No mapping between the two UUIDs and URLs was confirmed. ESC schematic, PCB, firmware, saved files and completion state remain unknown.
Saved FC plan reviewed
Read board-bring-up-plan in this project. Its staged FC supply/rail, SWD, USB, clock, flash, IMU, interface and analog checks remain planned hardware tests, not results. Follow that plan with ESC disconnected first; preserve its external-regulated-supply-only constraint, custom harness verification and prohibition on raw battery powering the FC input. Do not assume an ESC cable pinout or connect it until the actual accessible design and harness have been reviewed. No circuit or PCB change was made by this access task.
Additional ESC physical validation gates — not performed
- Establish the actual board revision, BOM, battery range, firmware configuration, motor/load, cable/connector ratings, cooling and definition of the 55 A claim (per-channel versus total; continuous duration versus burst). These are presently unknown; do not invent test voltages, temperature limits or a 55 A rating.
- Before motor power, inspect assembly and polarity and test for shorts. Use appropriately fused, current-limited low-energy commissioning and an emergency disconnect. Verify control supplies, gate-drive waveforms, dead time, safe startup and shutdown using qualified instrumentation. High-energy testing requires a suitably equipped operator and guarded fixture.
- Verify signal compatibility and harness continuity against both actual designs. Test command loss, disarm, reboot and supply interruption at low energy before increasing mechanical load. No flight or exposed-propeller testing.
- On manufactured hardware, use a restrained motor/dynamometer or validated ESC load fixture appropriate for switching motor drive; a plain DC electronic load is not automatically a valid substitute. Calibrate current, voltage, temperature and speed/torque measurements. Record DC input current separately from phase current and record each channel separately.
- Increase load in controlled steps only after safe low-load operation. Measure MOSFET, driver, capacitor, connector, cable and PCB temperatures, bus ripple/transients, losses and control behavior. Test a single channel and simultaneous four-channel loading under documented worst-case intended ambient and cooling, with a defined thermal-equilibrium criterion and duration. Compare with researched component operating limits and an explicit safety margin; establish stop thresholds before testing.
- Test claimed burst operation separately with stated on/off timing. Evaluate startup/stall and protection behavior with controlled fault energy; never establish a destructive-fault test casually. Report every tested operating condition and any derating.
Completion disposition
- Completed: bounded authorized read attempts; review of saved FC test plan; current-project documentation of access and physical validation gates.
- Failed/blocked: ESC saved-state recovery and inspection — neither saved reference resolved, and search failed. Needs a working authorized link.
- Unattempted: ESC circuit/PCB/firmware edits (outside scope); physical FC bring-up and ESC load/thermal testing (requires assembled hardware and safe equipment).
- No 55 A current/load/thermal qualification, flight readiness or overall project completion is claimed. Simulation alone cannot establish manufactured-hardware current capability or thermal qualification.
