Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

Make me a temperature and humidity sensor node with Wifi and Bluetooth, powered by USB-C (5V) for consumer use.
It should be a low-power environmental node with a digital T/RH sensor, ultra-low-power MCU with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (dual-radio) — 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n plus BLE 5.x powered by USB-C (5 V) — USB-C receptacle 5 V default; include reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection and plan for 0.5–3 A sources.
I’m blocked from executing design actions because the project has no remaining credits, so I could not add components, consult datasheets, wire the schematic, or run review checks.
Current project state:
  • Project is still empty: 0 components, 0 nets.
  • No schematic or layout changes were made.
  • No datasheet-grounded part selection has been performed yet.
Recommended next design plan once credits are available:
  1. Rename/document the project as a USB-C Wi-Fi/BLE temperature-humidity sensor node.
  2. Select an ultra-low-power Wi-Fi + BLE 5.x MCU/module, likely an ESP32-C6/C3-class module depending on exact power/performance goals.
  3. Add a digital temperature/RH sensor, likely I²C.
  4. Design USB-C 5 V input with:
    • USB-C receptacle with CC pull-downs for default 5 V sink operation.
    • Reverse-current/reverse-polarity protection.
    • OVP, UVLO, and OCP/load switch protection sized for 0.5–3 A sources.
    • 5 V to 3.3 V regulator sized from a real power budget.
  5. Add all required decoupling, pull-ups, boot/config resistors, programming/debug connector, and RF/antenna keepout.
  6. Run schematic ERC/review and fix all violations before moving to layout.
Once credits are restored, I can build the schematic first, verify it against datasheets, and pause for your approval before layout.
