User just said: "that's a crazy ugly!, it should be just simple slide switch mechanism". Stop completing the bulky button/bezel approach. I acknowledged: "Understood—the button fixture is too bulky. I’ll replace it with a simple, low-profile slider; since SW2 is a momentary tactile switch, the slider will actuate it and return rather than latch on/off."
Implement user's visual correction now: minimal flush/near-flush narrow thumb slider integrated into existing enclosure wall, simple captured rails and suitable cam to depress side tactile SW2 if feasible. No bulky external bezel or visible surrounding cage. Remove superseded button/bezel models. Preserve existing other shell features. Do NOT change electrical SW2 to slide switch without authorization. Need correct momentary return and no preload; avoid claiming functional return without verification. If safe momentary slider cannot be made simply from existing SW2, stop and report exact blocking distinction before more CAD rather than piling on mechanism complexity. User correction authorizes new feature direction, not unbounded repairs; track spent budget and cap repairs. Return concise revised result with measurements/pose checks and report. Prioritize simple appearance; user is unhappy with complexity.
The bulky button/bezel prototype is superseded and no longer present as geometry. A replacement slider has not been built or qualified. The accepted compact-eyelet enclosure has been restored. The mechanical brief is not edited by this note.
The requested appearance is a simple, narrow, flush or near-flush thumb slider without an external bezel or visible cage. The electrical switch has not been changed.
Restored enclosure
3D Model
Installed model: Enclosure Base v10, position rule 21.5mm -28.56mm 0mm, rotation 0 0 0, scale 1, Z-up.
I removed the bulky fixture geometry and restored the accepted compact shell, verifying that all other scene content and board data remain unchanged. A replacement slider is not built: it needs a decision between a spring-return mechanism over the existing tactile switch and a true latching slide switch requiring PCB changes. Details are in the project files: SW2 slider feasibility.
