The check found a real CAD collision, not just printer tolerance: the lid tongue intersected the base bosses. A lid-only correction is already generated; I’m now independently validating the corrected seated assembly and confirming the base stayed unchanged.

Confirmed the original lid had 23.44 mm³ of interference with the base bosses. The corrected lid now has:
- Zero assembled CAD collision
- 0.40 mm total XY clearance
- 0.50 mm clearance above all four bosses
- Fully open screw holes and counterbores
- No changes to the base

The lid is displayed in an exploded position in the project, but the interference test evaluated it at its fully seated assembly position. Physical fit still depends on printer shrinkage, warping, and elephant’s foot.
