PCB Enclosure Design

The stopped redesign produced no geometry, measurements, or verification output—only the original brief. Therefore, nothing from it can be retained.
The remaining draft still fails the critical requirements:
  • Exterior follows the PCB outline, not the supplied STL.
  • USB-C plug seating is unverified.
  • SW1 pusher and overtravel stop are unverified.
  • SW2 travel is unverified.
  • The mandatory assembled-view checks and close-ups are incomplete.
I cannot responsibly approve or document the current enclosure for fabrication.
Fix usb-c window
I’ll correct only the USB-C opening on the current enclosure draft: re-derive J1’s rotated receptacle face and mating axis, localize the cutout, ensure a 12 × 6.5 mm plug can seat, then verify the connector is exposed in the assembled view.

Received notification from "USB C Enclosure Fix" that it finished — picking the work back up.
The USB-C edit is complete. I’m checking the reported cutout dimensions and assembled placement now before confirming it as fixed.
The USB-C window was not modified. J1’s receptacle face was located, but the enclosure .build123d asset update failed in the attachment pipeline; no PCB, asset, or model-node changes were made.
I reported the platform failure to the engineering team.

Block sourcing decision
  • USB-C/input protection: from scratch; exact requested connector and protection parts required.
  • Charger: from scratch; select a well-stocked 1-cell linear charger and use its datasheet application circuit.
  • Battery/switch/system rail: from scratch; exact requested connector/switch topology.
  • MCU/support: from scratch; ATmega328-family exact package/pin mapping.
  • LED chain: from scratch; exact WS2812B-2020-V6 and no per-LED capacitors.
Reference-project import is not available in the active toolset, so each block will be library-sourced and datasheet-verified.
