ultrasonic trigger to pin 9, echo to pin 10, LED indicator to pin 4 via 220 Ω resistor. Connect ESP8266 ESP-
01 with regulated 3.3 V supply and 1000 µF decoupling capacitor on the 3.3 V rail.
I can’t place components in this project directly because you don’t have edit access here, but this is the right next step: the placement flow should use the dedicated placement tool with a specific instruction, and WiFi modules should be given an explicit board-edge placement hint so the antenna isn’t trapped inside the board outline
