Started: inspecting pins and wiring continuity nets.
Work done
  • Captured the M12 cable tester plan and inspected the empty project state.
  • Searched the library for the required interfaces and found usable board-mount M12 receptacles plus 4-position terminal blocks.
  • Added the connector and indicator set: J1, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, D1, D2, D3, D4, R1, R2, R3, R4.
  • Set the project description to document the tester purpose and the brown/white/blue/black pin labeling scheme.
  • Inspected the added components and confirmed their available pin names for the next wiring step.
Success criteria review
  • ✅ Required terminal blocks and M12 connector interfaces have been added to the project.
  • ❌ The continuity nets are not yet wired, so the LED channels are not electrically functional yet.
  • ❌ The schematic is not yet complete and has no routed connection paths between the connector sets and indicator circuits.
Next steps The remaining work is to wire the four 1-to-1 continuity channels, connect each LED + resistor path so it only lights for the matching pin path, label the channel nets, and then review the schematic and layout readiness. I could not continue because execution in this session is blocked.
