  • Reset the PCB to a 100 mm × 100 mm rounded rectangle with 7 mm corners and a 4-layer stackup.
  • Fresh-placed the board with top-side user controls in a macro-keypad layout and bottom-side MCU/support electronics clustered by function.
  • Placed H1–H4 near the corners with clear control keepaway areas.
  • Resolved the oversized artwork issue by removing Logo1, which was distorting the layout bounds.
  • Verified there are no overlap, missing-footprint, invalid-layer, fill-overlap, or protected-area issues after placement.
Success criteria review
  • ✅ Board outline and 4-layer stackup set correctly.
  • ✅ Top-side controls arranged as a clean user-facing keypad/encoder layout.
  • ✅ Bottom-side MCU, flash, crystal, regulator/power, and passives clustered for short routing.
  • ✅ Mounting holes remain clear at the corners.
  • ✅ Oversized artwork interference resolved.
  • ⚠️ Traces are still unrouted, so airwire indicators remain; placement is ready for the routing stage.
