NTSC/PAL Video Decoder IC – Low-power high-performance multistandard video decoder for converting analog composite video into digital YCbCr video. Supports all NTSC and PAL standards, operates from a 1.8 V analog and digital supply with 1.7 V to 3.45 V digital I/O, and features a 10-bit 54 Msps ADC with 4× oversampling. Includes a 2:1 composite video input multiplexer, adaptive comb filter, automatic gain control (AGC), automatic standard detection, line-locked PLL, and 8-bit or 10-bit ITU-R BT.656 parallel video output. Typical power consumption is 200 mW, with <100 µW shutdown power and <5 mW sleep mode. Specified for operation over a −40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range and housed in a 28-pin QSOP package.
