    Reflective Optical Sensor (Photointerrupter) – Reflective infrared optical sensor integrating an 850 nm IR emitter and silicon phototransistor receiver for object detection, proximity sensing, position detection, paper/media sensing, and industrial automation. Features a 2.3 mm sensing distance, daylight-blocking optical filter, and high ambient light immunity for reliable reflective detection. Operates with an IR LED forward current up to 50 mA, 1.25 V typical forward voltage, and a phototransistor collector-emitter voltage of up to 70 V. Provides fast response times, surface-mount (SMD) construction, and is specified for operation over a −40°C to +100°C temperature range. Housed in a 4-pin SMD reflective sensor package measuring approximately 4.2 × 2.5 × 1.7 mm.
