Automotive CAN FD Transceiver with Signal Improvement Capability (SIC) – High-speed CAN FD transceiver with Signal Improvement Capability (SIC) for automotive networks, body electronics, ADAS, industrial automation, motor control, and embedded communication systems. Supports Classical CAN and CAN FD communication with data rates up to 8 Mbps, operating from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply. Features standby mode with ultra-low power consumption, SIC technology for improved signal integrity on large CAN networks, ±58 V bus fault protection, TXD dominant timeout, thermal shutdown, undervoltage protection, receiver hysteresis (100 mV typical), and failsafe operation for enhanced network reliability. Qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1, it operates over a −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range and is housed in an 8-pin SON (3 × 3 mm) wettable-flank package for automated optical inspection (AOI).
