Part Datasheet Review

Review all available part information (MPN, package, pin count, description, properties). If no datasheet URL is already set, search the web for the official datasheet and update the part's Datasheet property with the URL. Then cross-check the schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the datasheet. Summarize key specs and flag any mismatches.
The current part is RECOM R1Z-3.33.3-R, with six populated pins/pads numbered 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 10. I can inspect the existing symbol and footprint, but official datasheet web lookup, datasheet-backed verification, and updating the Datasheet property require Agent mode.
Continue in Agent Mode
I’ll audit the current metadata and geometry, verify the official RECOM datasheet, update the datasheet link if necessary, then cross-check the pinout and footprint and report any mismatches.

Part Verification Report Review scope
Reviewed the current part metadata, six-terminal schematic symbol, KiCad footprint, and STEP model against the official RECOM product page and the R1Z series datasheet.
Verification note: the official manufacturer page and PDF were found successfully, but the datasheet evidence service could not persist page-level citations (evidence_location_invalid). The facts below were cross-checked against the official web/PDF content, but do not carry Flux page-level citation markers.
Identity and stored metadata Key specifications
  • Function: regulated, isolated, single-output DC/DC converter.
  • Rated output power: 1 W.
  • Nominal input: 3.3 VDC; series input tolerance is ±5%.
Review complete. The Datasheet property now points to the official RECOM PDF; the six-pin symbol and footprint match the published pinout and package geometry, with no functional mismatch found.
Open items:
  • Dedicated description, package, and pin-count properties are missing.
  • Pin 5 displays as the internal-looking -VOUT__1.
  • Exact STEP bounding-box verification was unavailable.

Table

Physical pinDatasheet functionCurrent symbolPin electrical typeResult
1-VIN-VINInputMatch
2+VIN+VINInputMatch
4-VOUT-VOUTOutputMatch
5-VOUT-VOUT__1OutputElectrically correct; visible duplicate-name suffix is a library naming artifact.
7+VOUT+VOUTOutputMatch
10NCNCNot ConnectedMatch
The symbol places input pins on the left and output/NC pins on the right, which is clear and functionally correct. Both negative-output leads are represented separately as required.
Footprint cross-check
The footprint has six rectangular SMD pads, each 1.8 × 1.2 mm, using the correct physical pin numbers: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 10.
Pad centers from the imported footprint are:

Table

PinX (mm)Y (mm)
1-5.10-5.08
2-5.10-2.54
4-5.10+2.54
5-5.10+5.08
7+5.10+2.54
10+5.10-5.08
The pattern uses 2.54 mm pitch along each side and 10.2 mm between opposing pad-center rows. The nominal body outline is 10.7 × 15.24 mm in the footprint coordinate orientation. This matches the published R1Z six-lead SMD 10-pin-mini pattern; no pad-number or dimensional mismatch was found.
3D model review
A STEP model named R1Z-3.33.3-R.step is attached. Its orientation has been adjusted in the project. The asset presence and package identity are consistent with the part. The layout inspector does not expose a reliable calculated model bounding box for this asset, so exact 3D body-size verification remains visual rather than numerically proven.
Findings and flags
No functional mismatch found
  • MPN and manufacturer are consistent with the official product.
  • Symbol pin numbers and functions match the datasheet.
  • Footprint pad count, numbering, pitch, row spacing, and body outline match the published package pattern.
  • -R is correctly interpreted as tape-and-reel, not an electrical variant.
  1. Add a dedicated description property.
  2. Add package information: SMD 10 Pin Mini, 6 populated leads.
  3. Add pin-count metadata as 6 while retaining the nominal 10-position package designation.
  4. Normalize manufacturer styling to RECOM Power.
  5. If user-facing pin names must be clean, rename the second negative-output terminal from the internal-looking -VOUT__1 to a distinct descriptive display name such as -VOUT (Pin 5) while preserving physical pin 5.
Verification limitation
Page-level datasheet citations could not be generated because the datasheet evidence backend rejected both the official PDF and the previously stored PDF mirror. This is a tooling limitation, not evidence of a part mismatch.
