NTSC/PAL Video Decoder IC – Low\-power high\-performance multistandard video decoder for converting analog composite video into digital YCbCr video\. Supports all NTSC and PAL standards, operates from a 1\.8 V analog and digital supply with 1\.7 V to 3\.45 V digital I/O, and features a 10\-bit 54 Msps ADC with 4× oversampling\. Includes a 2:1 composite video input multiplexer, adaptive comb filter, automatic gain control \(AGC\), automatic standard detection, line\-locked PLL, and 8\-bit or 10\-bit ITU\-R BT\.656 parallel video output\. Typical power consumption is 200 mW, with \<100 µW shutdown power and \<5 mW sleep mode\. Specified for operation over a −40°C to \+125°C automotive temperature range and housed in a 28\-pin QSOP package\. Not recommended for new designs \(NRND\)\.
