The official Murata datasheet is already set, so I’m not changing that field. I found metadata and footprint issues and am writing the detailed cross-check into a project file.

Symbol Cross-Check
The schematic contains two terminal components, with pin numbers 1 and 2. That matches a non-polarized 2-terminal chip inductor.
Issues found:
  • Both terminals have Pin Type: Unspecified. For a passive inductor this is usually acceptable, but using a passive bidirectional/electrical passive terminal type would be clearer if available.
  • The terminal pin label appears as undefined in the schematic data. Pin numbers are present (1 and 2), but terminal names/descriptions are not populated.
  • No pin descriptions are set. Suggested descriptions: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, or equivalent non-polarized inductor terminals.
Footprint Cross-Check
Current layout data shows:
  • 2 pads total, matching the datasheet terminal count.
  • Both pads are SMD rectangular pads on the top layer.
  • Pad centers are at approximately x = +/-0.001175 mm, y = 0 mm.
  • Pad size is approximately 0.001 mm x 0.00115 mm.
  • Footprint silkscreen/fab outlines render roughly as an 0805 body outline, but the pads are effectively collapsed near the origin and are far too small for a 2012 / 0805 inductor footprint.
Datasheet recommended land dimensions are a = 1.2 mm, b = 3.0 to 4.0 mm, c = 1.0 mm. Interpreting the Murata drawing convention, this corresponds to two rectangular pads approximately 1.0 mm wide by 1.2 mm long, with total outside pad span b in the 3.0 to 4.0 mm range. For a centered footprint, expected pad centers would be separated by roughly b - a, i.e. about 1.8 mm to 2.8 mm depending on selected land span.
Footprint mismatch:
  • Current pad dimensions and spacing do not match the recommended Murata land pattern and are not manufacturable as-is.
  • Current pad geometry appears off by roughly three orders of magnitude; values look like meters-to-mm scaling leakage or an incorrectly entered rule value.
Mismatch Summary
  1. Manufacturer Part Number is incorrect: it contains a Mouser URL, not LQM21PN4R7MGRD.
