Part Audit Review

Review all available part information (MPN, package, pin count, description, properties). If no datasheet URL is already set, search the web for the official datasheet and update the part's Datasheet property with the URL. Then cross-check the schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the datasheet. Summarize key specs and flag any mismatches.
I’ll audit the part metadata and geometry, locate the official datasheet if needed, update the Datasheet property, then cross-check symbol pins and footprint against the manufacturer documentation.

Part Audit Report Audit scope
Reviewed the published part project for HX_PH254-01-04-Z-L11.5 against the currently assigned datasheet:
The Datasheet URL was already populated, so no property update was required.
Datasheet key specifications Metadata review
Recommended metadata values:
  • Part Type: Connector / Pin Header
  • Manufacturer Name: hanxia or Shenzhen Hanxia Electronic Co., Ltd.
  • Package or Case Code: Through-hole, 1×4, 2.54 mm pitch
  • Connector Type: Pin Header
  • Connector Gender: Male
  • Connector Pitch: 2.54 mm
Audit complete. The Datasheet URL was already set, so no update was needed; the symbol’s four passive pins and intended 2.54 mm footprint spacing match the datasheet.
Key issues: Part Type is incorrectly “Capacitors,” Manufacturer Name and pin descriptions are missing, drill diameter is unverified, and four apparent extra irregularly spaced pads make the footprint potentially unsafe for manufacturing. Full findings are in Part Audit Report. I also filed an internal part-quality report.

Schematic symbol review
  • Symbol has four terminals numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • Pin count and numbering match the 1×4 connector.
  • All pins are passive, which is correct for an unpolarized pin header.
  • Pin names are simply the pin numbers, which is acceptable.
  • Pin Description is missing on all four terminals. Suggested descriptions: “Male header contact 1” through “Male header contact 4.”
  • The physical part is symmetric and the datasheet does not show an inherent pin-1 feature. Pin numbering therefore depends on the footprint’s documented top-view orientation and silkscreen marker.
Footprint review
Correct features
  • The default footprint contains four inline mounts at X = -3.81, -1.27, +1.27, and +3.81 mm.
  • Center-to-center pitch is exactly 2.54 mm.
  • Total center span is 7.62 mm, matching the datasheet.
  • Default pad diameter is 1.65 mm.
  • Pad 01 is rectangular and pads 02–04 are circular, providing a clear PCB pin-1 convention even though the connector body itself is unkeyed.
  • The silkscreen body is approximately 10.16 mm × 2.4 mm and includes an external pin-1 circle, consistent with the datasheet body length and a useful orientation marker.
Mismatches / risks
  1. Critical: eight pad nodes are present instead of four. In addition to the correct default-footprint mounts 01–04, four extra pads named 1–4 were found at Y = -3.8345 mm. Their X positions are irregular and do not follow the required 2.54 mm pitch. If these nodes are active in instantiated parts, they would create an invalid eight-pad footprint and must be removed or excluded.
  2. Recommended drill diameter cannot be verified. The datasheet requires Ø1.02 mm holes, but the inspected footprint data exposes pad diameter only and no explicit drill/hole diameter. Confirm the through-hole drill is 1.02 mm before release.
  3. The duplicated silkscreen linework appears to contain repeated outline and pin-1-circle geometry. It may render harmlessly, but should be cleaned to avoid redundant primitives and fabrication-output ambiguity.
  4. No explicit fabrication/courtyard comparison was available. The silkscreen body dimensions are reasonable, but courtyard clearance should be checked before publication.
Overall disposition
Not release-ready without footprint verification. The electrical symbol numbering and the intended four-pad 2.54 mm footprint match the datasheet, but the incorrect Part Type, missing manufacturer/connector metadata, missing pin descriptions, unverifiable drill diameter, and especially the apparent four extra pads should be resolved before this part is used for manufacturing.
