10-Series Battery Monitor and Protector IC – Battery monitoring and protection IC for 3- to 10-series Li-ion, Li-polymer, and LiFePO4 battery packs. The Texas Instruments BQ76942PFBR provides cell-voltage, current, and temperature monitoring, autonomous or host-controlled cell balancing, high-side NFET drivers, and secondary fuse protection. It supports ±200 mV current measurement, 400 kHz I²C, SPI, and HDQ interfaces, and temperature sensing through an internal sensor plus up to 9 external thermistors. It operates with up to 85 V on the cell-connect inputs and is housed in a 48-pin TQFP package.
