Soldering Dual-Sided PCBs

Here’s the most relevant entry I found related to assigning simulation models to parts in Flux:
“The solution to this issue is to:
  1. Identify the part that does not have a simulation model by clicking on each part and checking the “Simulation” panel.
  2. Use a different version of the part that has a simulation model, or add the model yourself, forking the part if necessary.”
Can you explain the Reviews Auto-Layout warnings?
The Auto-Layout review produced warnings indicating that the selected pads can’t be routed because they overlap with copper from other nets. Specifically:
  • Pads P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6 each overlap existing copper on a different net, preventing Copilot’s router from finding a valid path.
  • Because the pads share copper with another net region, Auto-Layout must skip routing these connections to avoid creating shorts.
To resolve this:
  1. Inspect the overlapping regions in the PCB editor.
  2. Move or resize copper pours/traces of the conflicting net to clear a keep-out area around P1–P6.
  3. Add clearance in the pour’s pour settings or adjust the net’s keep-out constraints.
  4. Rerun Auto-Layout; Copilot should now be able to route those pads.
If you need help adjusting pour clearances or keep-outs, let me know!
