PMIC and DDR4 continuation notes Authorisation and scope
User approved updating U31 to proper PCA9450AAHNY and completing DDR4 bus. Prefer Mouser/DigiKey, then Arrow or other major distributors; no LCSC-only dependence. Schematic-first; PCB layout not authorised.
Changes completed this session
  • U31 replaced by dedicated PCA9450AAHNY part 246edfbb-30bd-4d6a-80f8-8e7f0b428f79, version 2c60e255-2ebb-430a-aff6-3ee7bcd3526a; part project /sateluser1/pca9450aahny. Replacement reported 49 connections preserved; restored eight NC marks. NXP PCA9450.pdf Table3 pin map verified by builder. Footprint 57 pads including EP; provisional copper 0.85x0.22mm, EP4.7x4.7mm. Copper dimensions need official verification; no 3D model.
"U31 and U30 Part Verification" completed.
U31 is updated, but the DRAM bus is not complete.
Completed:
  • Replaced U31 with a dedicated PCA9450AAHNY part, preserving its existing connections. An independent check confirmed its pin mapping and variant.
  • Replaced the defective U30 processor part with a 486-ball part mapped from NXP’s tables, reconnecting its existing nets.
Still required:
  • Add the specified 4 GB DDR4: two 16 Gb ×16 devices, bus connections, calibration resistors, decoupling and a dedicated 2.5 V VPP supply. No DDR4 devices were added this session.
  • Validate the 1.1 V-to-1.2 V DDR startup sequence.
  • Finish the processor mapping cross-check and verify both replacement footprints’ land dimensions before fabrication.
I saved the findings and remaining work in PMIC and DDR4 continuation notes.
Execution stopped because your account ran out of ACUs.
