Electrical Verification

do not place just route
Routing requires Agent mode to inspect the updated PCB, check routing feasibility, route all nets, and verify remaining airwires/DRC.
Understood: routing only—no component placement or movement. Switch to Agent mode to route the existing placement and verify all airwires and routing DRC.
Continue in Agent Mode
I’ll preserve the current placement, run a routing feasibility check, route the board, then verify remaining airwires and routing DRC.
Auto-routing converged with the existing placement: all nets are routed. I’m running the final airwire and DRC verification now; no components were moved.
Board routing completed without moving components.
  • 0 airwires
  • 0 dangling traces
  • No routing-related DRC errors or warnings
  • Auto-router noted one skipped decoupling-routing preference on GND, but the net is fully routed and DRC-clean.

Motor Connector Pin and Copper Audit
Read-only audit performed 2026-08-15 against the current schematic/netlist and persisted two-layer PCB routing. No project geometry, placement, schematic, or rules were modified.

ConnectorPinAssigned netCopper layer / pad-entry assessmentResult
J41LTHRBottom copper, 0.254 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, -23.000) (pad center), then exits left through (40.654, -23.000). Single centered entry; no local via, branch, loop, stub, or duplicate segment.PASS
J42GNDTop copper. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, -17.920) (pad center), leaving diagonally to (40.533, -16.453). Single clean entry; no local via or redundant geometry.PASS
J43L12VBottom copper, 0.5 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, -12.840) (pad center), leaving diagonally to (40.992, -13.848). Single clean entry; no local via, loop, or stub.PASS
J44LFWDTop copper, 0.5 mm. Two same-net diagonal starts are present at the pad area: (42.000, -7.760) → (43.983, -9.743) and (43.000, -7.760) → (44.750, -9.510), with the latter continuing down the trunk at x≈44.750. The first segment is a redundant open-ended branch/stub; the continuing branch starts off-center at the pad edge. No via or closed loop, but the dual/parallel entry is awkward and unnecessary.NEEDS CLEANUP
J45LREVBottom copper, 0.5 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, -2.680) (pad center), leaving diagonally to (40.992, -3.688). Single clean entry; no local via, branch, or stub.PASS
J51RTHRBottom copper, 0.254 mm analog-throttle route. Electrically complete with a single pad entry; no airwire, local via, redundant branch, loop, or suspicious near-miss found.PASS
J52GNDTop copper. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, 19.580) (pad center), leaving diagonally to (40.533, 18.113). Single clean entry; no local via or redundant geometry.PASS
J53R12VTop copper, 0.5 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, 24.660) (pad center), leaves horizontally to (40.298, 24.660) and then through a normal 45° transition. No via, branch, loop, or stub.PASS
J54RFWDBottom copper, 0.5 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, 29.740) (pad center), leaving diagonally to (40.992, 28.732). Single clean entry; no local via, branch, or stub.PASS
J55RREVTop copper, 0.5 mm route. Direct endpoint at approximately (42.000, 34.820) (pad center), entering diagonally from (40.992, 35.828). Single clean entry; no local via, branch, or stub.PASS
For J4 pin 4 / LFWD only:
  1. Delete the redundant Top-copper branch (42.000, -7.760) → (43.983, -9.743).
  2. Replace the off-center connector-side portion of the continuing route with one 0.5 mm Top-copper segment beginning at the J4-4 pad center (42.000, -7.760) and joining the existing LFWD trunk at or before (44.750, -9.510).
  3. Preserve the downstream trunk unless a post-edit overlap/dangling check identifies another artifact.
  4. Re-run airwire, dangling-trace, overlapping-trace/copper, floating-copper, and under-connected-via checks after the edit.
Fresh connectivity and DRC status
  • Remaining airwires: 0
  • Routing-state dangling traces: 0
  • Targeted DRC findings returned for airwires, dangling traces, overlapping traces, overlapping copper, floating copper, under-connected vias, and trace-corner-radius checks: 0
  • Manual pad-entry cleanup findings: 1 — J4 pin 4 / LFWD redundant branch and off-center dual entry.
The automated checks do not flag the J4-4 geometry because the LFWD net remains electrically connected; this is a copper-quality/topology cleanup rather than an unrouted-net failure.
