The "Redundant Traces" review flagged a warning on Smart Via, Trace auto.
Reports traces and vias that no connection needs: copper that can be removed without disconnecting any pad, custom trace, fill, or polygon. This includes dangling stubs, floating trace islands, and loops.

Help me fix this.
I can fix this by locating the Smart Via / Trace auto copper on BATTERY, removing only the redundant stub/loop and rerunning the DRC to confirm connectivity remains intact. The warning isn’t currently reproduced by the read-only review, so I need Agent mode to inspect and edit the live PCB geometry.

Routing work
  • Deleted stale/redundant routing created by the placement changes on GND, USB_5V, USB_VBUS_RAW, BUZZER_GATE, BUZZER_LOW, and VSYS.
  • Surgically reconnected moved endpoints where the point-to-point router succeeded.
  • The point-to-point router repeatedly rejected ALARM_PWM and BUZZER_GATE despite targeted placement changes, so one cleanup auto-route pass was used. It added 32 routing nodes and completed the remaining signal connections, but regressed the ground network to four airwires.
  • Deleted all five redundant traces/vias left by that cleanup pass.
Final validation evidence
Final DRC review at 2026-09-13T22:50:16.630Z reports only:

  3. GND: C3 P2 → GND fill
  4. GND: C3 P2 → GND-fill stitching via
  5. J1 edge-placement warning
No open body-overlap, overlapping-copper, overlapping-trace, pad-access, outside-board, invalid-layer, keepout, or redundant-trace findings were present. Top- and Bottom-side layout renders were inspected after the final mutation; scene-tree inspection also confirmed the intended side assignment and component-model population.
Remaining uncertainty
  • The four ground airwires require a later targeted ground cleanup or fill/stitching review. The cleanup auto-route explicitly blocked further targeted routing in the same run after its partial result.
  • J1's routing preflight continues to report intrinsic same-net stacked GND/VBUS pads and shell-pin keepout interactions within the library footprint.
  • The board remains extremely dense (the placement tool estimates approximately 91% usable Bottom-side area utilization), so future movement should be minimal and localized.
  • The provisional SMT-0927-S-HT-R acoustic-performance issue remains unchanged.
