It supports up to 2048 uncompressed 16-bit, 44.1kHz WAV files—true CD quality—ensuring your audio is crisp, clear, and free of compression artifacts.

Whether you are building a cosplay prop, an escape room puzzle, or an interactive art installation, this board adapts to your control needs by specializing in three key areas:
- Direct Triggers: Connect buttons, switches, or sensors directly to the 16 programmable inputs, without requiring a separate microcontroller board.
- Smart Logic: Use the free cross-platform GUI to easily assign behaviors like random play, sequential tracks, or pause/resume functionality to specific triggers.
- Serial Control: For advanced users, the available Arduino library supports complex real-time mixing, smooth cross-fading, and sample-synced start of multiple tracks.
Versatile Control Options
The WAV Trigger is powerful enough to function as a fully-featured polyphonic sampling synthesizer. By connecting a MIDI controller, you can play your own sounds with comprehensive support for pitch bending, voice stealing, and note attack/release (fade-in/fade-out). The onboard engine even performs real-time sample-rate conversion, allowing you to dynamically adjust playback speed and pitch from 0.5x to 2x without latency.
With support for standard SDSC and SDHC microSD cards (up to 32GB), the WAV Trigger brings professional-grade audio depth and responsiveness to any embedded project.
