Flux Flight Computer Import

fix the orientation of the jst-gh 6 pin power connector. make it oriented to the edge at left
I’ll rotate/place the 6-pin JST-GH BAT1 so its mating side faces the left board edge, then run a focused placement check around the connector.
BAT1 has been rotated and moved to the left edge with the connector mouth facing outward. I’m running the focused checks now to confirm it’s clear.
Done. BAT1 is now on the top layer at the left edge, rotated so the JST-GH cable-entry side faces outward; SW2 was nudged upward to keep clearance.
Open items:
  • Focused BAT1 checks are clean: no floating-pin, overlap, copper, or outside-board issues for the connector.
  • Unrelated routing congestion remains around the FCC/UART area from earlier placement work.

Layout Reconstruction Notes
Summary
The Hades board outline was recreated from the KiCad Edge.Cuts geometry as a rounded rectangle with approximate dimensions 100.078 × 60.198 mm.
A subset of exact footprint coordinates was recovered from Hades.kicad_pcb and applied to the Flux layout. The available extraction did not expose all 215 KiCad module placements, so the remaining components were arranged by the placement optimizer inside the reconstructed outline.
Applied reference anchors
Recovered KiCad placement anchors included:
  • FCC1 from KiCad FCC
  • NAVC1 from KiCad NAVC
  • U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, FB1, LED1
  • USB1, USB3, USB4
  • BAT1, JP1, JP4, TP1TP4
  • Selected resistors and capacitors such as R2, R3, R10, R11, R13, R20, R23, R25R32, R43, R46, R54, C1, C9, C14C18, C20, C22C25, C28, C46, C57, C66
Not yet complete
  • Full exact placement clone from KiCad is not complete because not all footprint coordinates were exposed by the file parser.
  • Routing has not been recreated; airwires remain.
  • Mounting holes are still pending as dedicated layout/mechanical elements.
Run a placement review and, if acceptable, proceed to routing. If exact KiCad placement is required, upload the full KiCad project archive or a placement CSV/Pick-and-Place export so every reference designator can be positioned deterministically.
