Flux Product Design Workflows

Briefly describe what it's like to design a complete product in Flux. Help me understand what the PCB-first and enclosure-first design workflows are like to work with.
Designing a complete product in Flux means iterating on the electronics, firmware, enclosure, and manufacturing details together—not treating the PCB and case as unrelated designs.
  • PCB-first: Start with circuit requirements, capture the schematic, then place and route the board. Design the enclosure around the actual PCB, connectors, and mounting holes. This suits projects where electrical performance or existing hardware sets the constraints; the tradeoff is less freedom over the final product’s shape.
  • Enclosure-first: Start with how the product looks, feels, mounts, and is used. Define the housing and interface locations, then fit the electronics into that envelope. This suits handheld or space-constrained products; the tradeoff is tighter PCB constraints and potentially more layout iterations.
Both workflows involve back-and-forth fit checks before manufacturing. Your current retro-PC example already includes electronics and enclosure bodies, but I haven’t inspected or changed them this turn. No design execution occurred; execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
