Custom PCB Tester Design


A custom PCB-based tester to measure and display key parameters of an alternator and battery system in real-time:
  • Voltage of battery (0–15V) and alternator (0–15V).
  • Amperage (optional, via shunt/ACS712 sensor, 0–30A).
  • RPM (optional, via IR/Hall effect sensor).
  • Dual OLED displays (or single LCD) for clear readouts.
Let's clarify a few details to tailor your design. I'll ask two questions one at a time.
Question 1:
For sensor measurements, would you like to include both the optional current sensor (via shunt/ACS712) and the RPM sensor (via IR/Hall effect), or only focus on the voltage measurements for now?
