Designing a complete product in Flux means developing the electronics and mechanical housing together, checking how power, connectors, mounting, assembly, and manufacturing fit together—not just finishing a schematic.
- PCB-first: Start with the circuit, then place and route the board. Design the enclosure around its outline, mounting holes, and connector locations. This works well when electronics drive the product; the trade-off is less freedom over the final size and shape.
- Enclosure-first: Start with the product’s shape, controls, ports, and mounting constraints. Fit the board and components inside that space. This suits products where appearance or physical fit matters most, but tight packaging may require more PCB iterations.
Both workflows are iterative: board and enclosure need to be checked together before manufacturing. I haven’t changed your project; execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
