Ken designs KVM and IT hardware. His licensed laptop failed, and the USB-C controller at U20 is unavailable for the next build. The replacement must keep the firmware's I²C address so the hardware change does not force a second firmware update.

## Issue

U20 is a FUSB302. Ken needs an in-stock replacement in the schematic and on the PCB.

> "We can't buy the FUSB302 USB-C controller (U20) for our next build. Find an in-stock replacement, swap it in the schematic and on the PCB, update the support parts, and tell me what changed."

## Resolution

Flux replaced U20 with FUSB302BMPX and kept I²C address 0x22. R76 and C48 were placed beside U20 as support parts. The board view keeps the CC, I²C, interrupt, and power connections in context.

The unchanged 0x22 address keeps the controller replacement aligned with Ken's host firmware.

With U20 replaced, Ken can review the schematic, PCB placement, 0x22 address, and nearby support parts in one project. The hardware update keeps the address his host firmware expects and brings the USB-C controller change into the design before the team's next scheduled build. Ken can carry the retained 0x22 address into the planned firmware update.
