Li-Fi System Design Brief Requested system
Design a room-scale, bidirectional optical communication system using four ceiling LEDs and photodetectors, carrying data, voice, and live video.
State of work
Only this initial brief has been recorded. No component research, link budget, bandwidth verification, circuit design, simulation, schematic changes, or PCB changes have been performed. The existing ESP32 retro-PC example is unrelated to the requested optical network and has not been modified.
Proposed direction — not yet validated
  • Four ceiling optical access nodes connected to a wired Ethernet backbone and a common network controller.
  • Each ceiling node: visible-light LED downlink with a suitable high-speed modulation driver, plus an optical receiver for the uplink.
I created Li-Fi System Design Brief with a preliminary four-ceiling-node architecture for bidirectional data, voice, and live video; no circuitry has been designed or changed. The next step is to establish room dimensions, simultaneous user count, video requirements, and whether an infrared uplink is acceptable, then validate components and optical bandwidth in Agent mode.
Execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
What is Agent mode?
Agent mode lets Flux build, do deep research, validate designs, and work through complex assignments.
Chat mode is just as smart and has the same engineering knowledge, but it cannot work autonomously.
Only Agent mode consumes your plan's included AI usage (measured in ACUs).
