eSIM.net Discount Code EDCNET10: Reading the Stacking Question Carefully
eSIM.net discount code EDCNET10 gives a 10% discount on eSIM plans when it is applied in the order summary before payment. The published details confirm the percentage but leave one question open: whether the code can be combined with the 3 or 6 month subscription saving. This article sets out what is stated, what is not, and how to test the answer on your own basket before you pay.
What is confirmed
EDCNET10 is listed as a 10% discount and can be used as a voucher code or a discount code. It goes in the promo, voucher or discount code field in the order summary on the basket or checkout page, above or beside the total, followed by the Apply button. Once you press Apply, the summary should redraw with a discount row and a lower total. Check that row before you pay.
Two timing points matter. The code cannot be added retroactively after payment, so it must be applied before you pay through Stripe. Codes of this type are also normally one per order rather than stackable with another code.
Set your currency in the top navigation currency selector before you apply the code. Payments are processed by Stripe and support GBP, USD, EUR, Australian dollars and Canadian dollars.
The stacking question
Some plans show a subscription saving for 3 or 6 months at checkout. Whether EDCNET10 combines with that saving is set by the store, and the knowledge available does not say either way. Do not assume the two add together, and do not assume they cannot. The answer may also differ by plan.
A second limit is relevant. Heavily reduced or promotional bundles are sometimes excluded from further percentage discounts. A plan that is already marked down may therefore show a smaller effect from the code than you expect, or none at all.
How to test it on your own basket
Running a short test costs nothing and does not require any payment details.
  1. Choose your plan type first: UK local, single destination travel, or multi-country.
  2. Open the product page and select the data allowance and validity period you need. Read the validity note on that page, because the store states whether validity runs from purchase or from installation for each plan.
  3. Set the currency in the top navigation.
  4. Add the plan to the basket and open the basket screen. Note the total without any code.
  5. Type or paste EDCNET10 into the discount code field and press Apply.
  6. Note the new total and the discount row. Check that the reduction is about 10% of the price.
  7. If the plan offers the 3 or 6 month subscription option, select it and see whether a second reduction appears in the summary.
If the summary shows only the 10% reduction, the code applied and the subscription saving did not add to it in that test. If both reductions appear, the summary is your evidence that they combined for that order. Either way, screenshot the summary so you have a record.
Planning for either outcome
If the code does not stack with the subscription saving, you have to compare two routes. Work out the total for the period you need under each option, using the figures shown on your own screens, and choose the lower total. The knowledge does not say which reduction takes precedence when both are available, so do not rely on a guess.
If the code is blocked on a particular plan, the plan may be one of the already reduced bundles. Try a different variant of the same plan or a different plan type, then repeat the basket test.
Remember that the store asks you to log in or create an account with an email address during checkout. Make sure the email you use is one you can access, since the QR code for your eSIM arrives there. Scan the QR code from the confirmation email and follow the emailed installation instructions. Eligibility matters too: the device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked, and compatibility information is published on the site.
If the summary and the emailed confirmation do not agree, or the discount row is missing after you pressed Apply, contact the store with your screenshots and order details rather than paying a second time.
The percentage itself is simple. The stacking question is the one part of the offer that the published details leave to the store, so test it on your own basket before you commit.
