Work done
  • Updated project title and requirements metadata for the compressor HVAC controller.
  • Fixed ESP32 enable wiring by adding R11 (10k pull-up) to the existing C5 EN capacitor on net ESP_EN.
  • Completed CT op-amp feedback wiring for U4 by adding/wiring R12, R13, R14, R15, and cleared the ERC “shorted components” errors.
Success criteria review
  • ✅ ESP32 + 5 VDC input + local 3.3 V rail present and now has a valid EN network (U1, U2)
  • ✅ 24 VAC inputs and isolated detection nets are present (J2, U5)
  • ✅ CT conditioning paths are now closed-loop and feed the ESP32 ADC nets (J3, J4, U4)
  • ✅ 3-wire fallback UART interface present (J5)
  • ❌ DRC is still failing (many overlapping copper/airwire/floating copper items). These are PCB-layout issues that require layout inspection/repair; I cannot safely resolve them without a focused layout pass.
Next steps
  • I can start a scoped PCB layout triage by running @layout inspect on the reported hotspot copper/pad IDs and then suggest/encode rule fixes where applicable.
