Fixing Dangling Trace Issue

Run the full DRC now and fix any remaining issues.
I’ll run the full DRC, fix any remaining layout issues that show up, and re-check until the board is clean or I hit a blocking issue.
Full DRC is clean. I checked airwires, dangling traces, floating/overlapping copper, missing footprints, invalid layers, overlapping fills/traces, under-connected vias, protected intrusions, and related layout checks; no warnings or errors were reported on the verification pass.

  • None found in DRC.
  • No fixes were needed.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Visually inspect the board one more time around J2/J7/J6.
  2. Regenerate manufacturing exports if you want updated files after the reroute.
  3. Order a small prototype batch before committing to larger quantities.

Project Specification
Overview
Design a simple 12 V wiring/interface PCB that connects a SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-931-S35RRQ retro-reflective photoelectric sensor to a 12 V DC battery supply, a SECO-LARM E-941SA-80Q electromagnetic lock, a manual RF remote release path, and a selectable photoeye bypass path.
Known device wiring
  • E-931-S35RRQ power: Brown/Blue, 12–240 VDC or 24–240 VAC, polarity not important per manufacturer manual.
  • E-931-S35RRQ relay contacts: White = COM, Gray = NC, Black = NO.
  • E-941SA-80Q lock: 12–24 VDC electromagnetic lock, approximately 60 mA at 12 VDC per current manufacturer product data.
  • Fuse selection: 1 A fuse installed in F1.
  • RF manual release target: SECO-LARM SK-910RD2 or equivalent 12 V-compatible RF relay receiver with at least 500 ft / 150 m rated range.
  • Photoeye bypass: external maintained SPST switch across the photoeye NC contact.

Electrical behavior
  • Battery +12 V enters J1 and passes through F1 to FUSED_12V.
  • FUSED_12V powers the photoeye brown wire, feeds the photoeye relay COM white wire, powers the external RF receiver through J5, and feeds J7 L1.
  • With J7 bypass switch open, the photoeye NC gray wire must be closed for power to reach J6 pin 1.
  • With J7 bypass switch closed, FUSED_12V is connected directly to J6 pin 1, so the photoeye contact is bypassed and no longer affects the lock state.
  • The RF receiver NC contact remains in series after the photoeye/bypass node: J6 pin 1 COM to J6 pin 2 NC to J3 L1.
  • Pressing the RF remote should energize the receiver relay and open its NC contact, interrupting lock power for manual release even when the photoeye is bypassed.
  • The lock negative returns to J3 L2/GND.
  • The photoeye black NO wire and RF receiver relay NO contact are intentionally unused.

Constraints and limits
  • The E-941SA-80Q load is approximately 60 mA at 12 VDC, far below the E-931-S35RRQ relay rating of 2 A at 30 VDC.
  • F1 is specified as 1 A, which is below the 2 A relay-contact ceiling and provides margin for wiring/installation variation.
  • Keep D1 installed across the lock output for inductive kick suppression.
  • Configure the RF receiver for momentary/timed relay activation suitable for door release, not a permanent latched unlock unless intentionally desired.
  • RF range depends on antenna placement, enclosure material, and line of sight; use the manufacturer antenna/extended antenna if the installation must reliably meet 150 m.
Open assumptions
  • Nominal system voltage is 12 VDC.
  • Current design uses the latest product data current value of approximately 60 mA at 12 VDC; verify against the exact lock label/manual during installation.
  • RF receiver model is assumed to be SECO-LARM SK-910RD2 or equivalent with dry Form-C relay output and 10–24 VAC/VDC power input.
