Designing a complete product in Flux is an iterative process: I help define requirements, develop the electronics and mechanical design, check how they fit together, and prepare for prototyping and manufacturing.
- PCB-first: Start with the circuit, then size and lay out the board. Design the enclosure around its connectors, mounting points, and cooling needs. This works well when electronics drive the product; the trade-off is less freedom over the final shape.
- Enclosure-first: Start with the product’s shape, how it’s held or mounted, and where controls and connectors belong. Design the PCB to fit those constraints. This works well when appearance or fit matters most; the trade-off is tighter placement and routing constraints.
Neither is strictly one-way—you refine both together as constraints emerge. I haven’t changed your project this turn; this was an overview only. Execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
