ESP32 I/O Board Design


I want to create an all in 1 board that houses an esp32, 12 channels of optocouplers and 8 channels of ads1115. All to screw-type terminals
No design changes were made; the project is still empty. Execution is currently unavailable because the account has no ACUs.
Remaining work:
  • Confirm ESP32 variant, input voltage, optocoupler signal voltage/current, ADS1115 input ranges, isolation requirements, and terminal wire size.
  • Resolve I²C addressing: eight ADS1115 devices exceed the four native addresses, so an I²C multiplexer is required.
  • Design the power, protection, schematic, screw-terminal pinout, PCB placement, routing, and verification.
