Status: Draft schematic in progress. A consumer USB-C powered temperature and relative humidity sensor node with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Ene...
Architecture review agrees with a USB-C sink plus real VBUS protection and a buck regulator; I’m selecting a low-power certified Wi‑Fi/BLE module rather than a hot LDO-based ESP32-style power tree.

Thought for a moment
Choosing components for low-power MCU
I need to decide on components, and the library offers the SIWG917 instead of the ESP32. The user mentioned they want an ultra-low-power MCU with WiFi and Bluetooth, but not specifically the ESP32. While the SIWG917 is better for power efficiency, it may lack native USB support, but they specified USB-C power. I might need to consider a debugging option like an SWD header.
I'm leaning towards the SIWx917 for its Wi-Fi 6 and BLE capabilities, and I need to gather the datasheets for the chosen parts to ensure all requirements are met.
Searching for component support
I’m thinking about which parts to use, and I might consider TPS25942 or AP22652 from the library. It seems like a good idea to search for more information on these components to ensure they meet my needs. Support documentation will help clarify any questions I have and confirm that I'm making the right choice. I'll gather all the relevant data before proceeding further with my selection process.

The project is still empty—no components or nets have been added. So far, I’ve established the intended architecture: USB‑C 5 V input with reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection, an efficient 3.3 V supply, a low-power Wi‑Fi/BLE 5.x module, and a digital temperature/humidity sensor.
The new Arduino workstation reference adds several possible modules, but their relationship to this sensor node is not yet specified. Building or adapting the design remains pending because no ACUs are currently available.
