Done. I deleted CN1 and moved U_MCU/Pico to the top of the board; it is now centered at about (10 mm, 88 mm) with its top edge just inside the board outline.
Open item: the Pico was clamped at the board edge, so if you want more clearance from the top edge I can drop it slightly lower.
I need a power switch and some output LEDs
I’ll add a low-current front-panel power/enable switch rather than a high-current 12 V path switch, plus output/status LEDs with current-limiting resistors, then verify the schematic changes.
Added the power switch and output LEDs. SW_PWR is a low-current front-panel switch that pulls Pico 3V3_EN to GND to turn logic off, and I added green indicators for BUS_12V and VOUT_19V5 with 4.7kΩ and 8.2kΩ series resistors.
Open items:
  • These are placed near the top/front-panel area but not routed yet.
  • If you intended a true high-current input disconnect instead of a Pico enable switch, that needs a different switch/contactor architecture.

Creation brief for a custom Flux component/footprint. The supplied PDFs are not importable EDA library files, so the connector must be manually created from the package drawing / 2D drawing or imported later from a real EDA library file.

Create the schematic symbol using functional pin groups, not anonymous pins:
  • 12V power output contacts from PSU: grouped as VIN_12V / PSU_12V.
  • Power return contacts: grouped as GND / PSU_RTN.
  • PSU control/status/sense contacts: use names from the Dell D750E-S1 pinout once verified.
  • Mechanical/shield/key pins: mark as mechanical or no-connect as appropriate.
Required Footprint Checks
Manually extract from the package and 2D drawings:
  • Exact 70012-1111 pin count and contact ordering.
  • Power vs signal contact positions.
  • Through-hole / press-fit / solder-tail geometry.
  • Mounting hole diameter and location.
  • Board edge / insertion datum.
  • Keying and polarization geometry.
  • Keepout for PSU shell and guide features.
  • Mechanical envelope and connector height.
  • Recommended PCB thickness and mating card alignment.
Flux Import Requirement
If using automated import later, provide one of these instead of PDFs:
  • KiCad: .kicad_sym plus .kicad_mod, optionally .step.

Current Blocker
The connector cannot be safely added as a real schematic+PCB component until the exact footprint geometry and pin map are manually created or provided in an importable EDA format. Do not use a generic connector placeholder for layout because PSU mechanical alignment is critical.
